เมื่อวันที่ 3 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2564 APCD ได้เฉลิมฉลองวันคนพิการสากล (IDPD) ในหัวข้อ "ภาวะผู้นำและการมีส่วนร่วมของคนพิการสู่โลกหลังโควิด-19 ที่ครอบคลุม เข้าถึงได้ และยั่งยืน" นายพิรุณ ลายสมิต กรรมการบริหาร APCD ร่วมงานวันคนพิการสากล พ.ศ. 2564 จัดโดยกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ รัฐบาลไทย
