On 23 February 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, the Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) led TICA's Cooperation partners in Thailand visited the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability.
APCD held the First Course of the Third Country Training Program on "Strengthening Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction in the ASEAN Region" in Bangkok and Pathum Thani, Thailand from February 5th to 11th, 2023.

Over 70 students enrolled in PI 292: International Organizations and Regimes, which they learned about fundamental APCD concepts. The contents could applied in international practices to further the goal of a barrier-free, inclusive, and rights-based society.

On 22 November 2021, APCD hosted an orientation for the World Endeavors online interns.
Ms. Kunyanut Aeksintong, Accounting Assistant; Ms. Areeya Wannasuriya, shop supervisor on 60+ Bakery & Chocolate Café at the Government House; and Mr. Krittamed Saman, a former intern, shared direct experiences coming across COVID-19 infections. The discussions were about the symptoms, the medical services, and the recovery stage, etc.
Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager, and Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking and Collaboration, participated in the dialogue.
All participants of the AAN Executive Board from 7 countries, including APCD and the Secretariat.
Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, the Community Development Manager, provided an overview of APCD and the several outcomes of TCTP for persons with disabilities in ASEAN countries.
During the visit, the APCD Executive Director and APCD team gave H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Mongolian Ambassador to Thailand, and his advisor (left hand) chocolate box sets produced by Thai persons with disabilities as a gift of thanks.
More than hundred attendees, the governmental representatives, workers, employers, youth groups, researchers, private sectors, and relevant partners of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth, who attended the webinar.
Ms. Patcharee Srisala, Director of Opportunity Promotion and Monitoring for Persons with Disabilities from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP), presented the significance of the loaning scheme to improve the lives of Thai persons with disabilities and shared a case study of the scheme's achievements.
A representative of the hospital staff at Thammasat University Field Hospital received meal boxes donation made by persons with disabilities on 5 October 2021. The donation was from M.L. Sujira Ngon-rot.
On  5 October  2021, Mr. Christopher Benjakul, APCD Public Relations Officer, presented box sets (freshly baked pastries and beverages) to homeless people who live on Ratchadamnoen Avenue.

Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Manager of the Community Development Department, shared his experience in organizing the 4th Asia-Pacific CBID Congress in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in 2018. It was informative for preparation to organize the upcoming CBID Congress for the Working Group. Cambodia Government will be the host of the 5th CBID Congress in 2023.
Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking and Collaboration, and Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat, Logistics Officer, provided an update on APCD's regional works and followed up on a pending job delegated to the AAN Secretariat in Indonesia

Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager, suggested that the activities on promoting CRPD which were done by Local Administrative Organizations (Laos) in Thailand should be shared in the activity report as a contribution from the local government.

On June 16, the 60 lunch boxes were distributed to medical professionals of the Prasat Neurological Institute for Thailand.
Report of the UN Development System's aid to Thailand for "Leaving No One Behind" was the most essential component in the discussion.

1.	Representatives from JICA Thailand Office, Japanese Resource Persons team, and APCD provide inputs on content preparation to produce a user-friendly manual for parents/family members of children with disabilities.

There were 78 Zoom stations from other ASEAN countries and Japan that joined the Workshop.
1.	There were over 130 participants from relevant partners and stakeholders working in the disaster management sector, including Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager and APCD representative.
