Networking and collaboration are significant missions of APCD. APCD believes that the key successful factor to move disability and development programmes is creating a win-win situation and making sure the international, national and community levels have been harmonized.

APCD has substantial experience in development of networks for Community-based Rehabilitation Asia-Pacific Network (Network of organizations and countries which are working on Community-based Rehabilitation and Community-based Inclusive Development program in the Asia-Pacific Region), ASEAN Autism Network (network of family support groups who have children with autism in ASEAN countries), United Intellectual Disability Mekong sub-region Network (network of self-advocate persons with intellectual disabilities in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand) and Asia-Pacific Federation of Hard of Hearing and Deafened (Network of organizations of persons with persons who are hard of hearing and/or deaf in Asia-Pacific).
