Bangkok, Thailand – The Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) is pleased to announce its participation in the Thailand Friendly Design, Health Innovation & Tourism for All Expo 2025, taking place December 11-14, 2025 at BITEC Bangna, Hall 101, Bangkok.
Presidential Attendance at Opening Ceremony
Dr. Tej Bunnag, President of APCD Foundation, was invited to attend the opening ceremony on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM. The event, organized by the Friendly Design Foundation for All in collaboration with government agencies, state enterprises, private sector organizations, and international partners, aims to showcase Thailand's potential as a regional leader in inclusive health and tourism services.
Recognition for Outstanding Employment Promotion
APCD has been honored with the "Outstanding Employment Promotion Organization" award, recognizing the Foundation's commitment to advancing employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Ms. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, received the award on behalf of the organization on December 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM. The award will be presented by Mr. Akara Prompao, Minister of Social Development and Human Security.

The Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2025, now in its 9th edition, operates under the theme "Equal Access for All." The international platform highlights Thailand's capabilities in:
