DIEB Online Consultation Sessions

On 8 August and 4 September, 2026, APCD organized the online consultation sessions for job coaches trained under the Disability-Inclusive Employment and Business project in collaboration with UNESCAP and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. The session provided a space for the trained job coaches to share their experiences working as a job coach along with the challenges they encounter. The consultation also aims to gather information and requests from the job coaches in order to develop and strengthen the job coach system, ensuring the sustainable and effective promotion of disability employment in Thailand. Led by Mr. Kevin Cook, the Job Coach expert, with support from DEP and APCD partners, the session divided participants into three groups to capture their unique opportunities and challenges. The discussions provided valuable insights for strengthening ongoing support for job coaches and developing the Job Coach system in Thailand.
