From November 4 to December 21, 2021, the JICA Knowledge Co-Creation remote training program "Promotion of Social Participation of Persons with Disabilities Through Sports" was run for the second time. At the closing ceremony session on 20 December 2021, Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking and Collaboration, presented an action plan based on the remote program's learnings. Mr. Watcharapol was motivated to construct his action plan as a result of the knowledge exchanged. He’s keen on promoting gender equality for people with invisible disabilities (Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and mental illness) through inclusive sports and beyond should be implemented in Southeast Asian countries and Japan in accordance with international instruments' commitment to disability development

On 20 December 2021, Mr. Theerapat Prayurasiddhi (Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office), and Mr. Piroon Laismit (APCD Executive Director) were interviewed by Mr. Phanumas Suk-Umphorn, the TV host of Rak Moeng Thai Program at the APCD 60+ Plus Bakery and Chocolate Café project at the Government House. This program will be released on the TNN channel.

on 18 December 2021, APCD conducted a monthly meeting of self-advocates with intellectual disabilities and their families for preparation for the APCD-ESCAP collaboration program which will be organized the in-person training in Buriram for the following year. This discussion was intended to assist self-advocates with intellectual disabilities and their families to develop their own training courses. "Protecting and Empowering Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic" is the title of this initiative. The Project was implemented by APCD. The purpose was to enhance the capacity of persons with intellectual disabilities to be healthy, food-secure, and independent lives during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 17 December 2021, the TV program (Khon Thai Mai Thor) crew support and film APCD 60+ Plus Bakery and Chocolate Cafe project, an APCD Disability-Inclusive Business (DIB) project by interviewing Mr. Piroon Laismit (APCD Executive Director) and some staff with disabilities. It will be released on the "News1" Channel.

On 17 December 2021, Ms. Rapeepan Luangaramrut (Khun Reed) led her TV crew support and film APCD 60+ Plus Kitchen by CP project, an APCD Disability-Inclusive Business (DIB) project. Mr. Khan Prachuabmoh, Director of Fund-Raising Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society and APCD Foundation Committee, Mr. Piroon Laismit, the APCD Executive Director, Ms. Rapeepan Luangaramrut, the owner of Krua Khun Reed program and Mrs. Nongluck Kisorawong, the APCD 60+ Plus Kitchen by CP project joined this program.

On the 8th and 9th of December 2021, Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Department Manager, and Ms. Supaanong Panyasirimongkol, Networking & Collaboration Officer, attended "the 7th session of the Working Group on the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities" of UNESCAP Social Development Division. When the APCD dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic, they were involved in the process of the upcoming “the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities”.

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2021, Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking and Collaboration, and Ms. Supaanong Panyasirimongkol, APCD Networking and Collaboration Officer, exchanged "different ability" terms with Japanese school children. Ms. Yuko Kawai, JICA Thailand representative, moderated the special class. The pupils were inspired by ability diversity.

Mr. Piroon Laismit (APCD Executive Director) presented the token of appreciation on the New Year greetings 2022 to Mrs. Jatuporn Rojanapanich, Director-General Department of Children and Youth, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Bangkok.
