Keynote address by H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, delivered an inspiring speech on “CRPD: Enhancing Opportunities and Creating Value for Persons with Disabilities in Thailand.” His passionate address highlighted Thailand’s commitment to inclusive development and pointed out the importance of socially protecting the rights of persons with disabilities. At the same time, a sign language interpreter was facilitated throughout the program.
Over a hundred attendees from diverse backgrounds – A view of the conference room filled with participants and invited stakeholders, including representatives from government, civil society, disability organizations, and UN bodies. The large gathering demonstrated the collaborative spirit toward advancing disability rights in Thailand.
