On December 7, 2023, a collaborative effort between the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) and the Australian Embassy resulted in a significant gathering. Mr. Piroon Laismit, the Executive Director of APCD, warmly welcomed an esteemed delegation led by Ms. Julia Feeney, the Deputy Head of Mission, and Ms. Anita Wise, the Second Secretary from the Australian Embassy. This diplomatic mission was organized in conjunction with NOVA Employment, an Australian organization committed to facilitating the employment of individuals with disabilities and fostering meaningful careers for them.

In addition to the embassy representatives, the delegation included Mr. Ryan Goodwin, the Media and Advertising Manager from NOVA Employment. The collaborative visit aimed to engage with stakeholders and representatives, including Sarat TOP Suebsantikul, to discuss perspectives and strategies related to the employment of persons with disabilities in Thailand.
