Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, received a donation of 100 hat aprons which were made from 2 PET bottles per hat by representatives from Branding and Corporate Communications of Bangchak Corporation PCL.

Mr. Songkiat Wisarntanaroj, Information Communication Technology Officer, explained the utility and importance of Google Forms for various academic purposes such as conducting surveys, data collection, classroom test through online mode.

Ms. Nongnart Sutheerawatthananont, IKM Chief, facilitated a session on how to create QR Code Generator via online mode during her presentation.

Mr. Felix Weidenkaff, Employment Specialist of ILO, informed the purposes of the meeting to promote employment for Thai persons with disabilities in new trends.

The meeting was facilitated by the Director of Strategy and Planning, Ms. Saowaluck Vijit from the Department of Empowerment of persons with Disabilities (DEP), Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS)

AAN Executive Committee members provided inputs on content preparation and technical note exchanges for the assembly via virtual platform.

During agenda of other matters, Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking and Collaboration, updated information about a donation of reusable masks to the entities associated with ASEAN of which AAN is on the distribution list.

Mr. Morita Takahiro, Chief Representative, together with Mr. Keiichiro Yuasa, Senior Representative, and Ms. Suwanna Navacharoen, Program Officer, JICA Thailand Office, held discussions with Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, and his management team to strengthen cooperation on regional activities for disability and development.

Mr. Piroon presented APCD publications regarding JICA's cooperation with APCD and other relevant stakeholders to Mr. Morita.

User-friendly manual on Takkyo Valley was presented to the new Chief Representative. The manual was drafted by the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCVs), Mr. Akio Ogura, working with APCD for implementing the Third Country Training Program (TCTP) 2019.

Current situation of the Project was explained by Mr. Keiichiro Yuasa, Senior Representative of JICA Thailand Office.

Japanese resource person team updated the translation of Project documents for "Empowering Parents Groups of Children with Special Needs to promote physical activities during COVID-19".

Introduction of each participant was facilitated by APCD Community Development Department team.

APCD and JICA Thailand Office had further internal discussions about the Project implementation at 60+ Plus Bakery and Chocolate Cafe @ Ratchawithi Branch.

Ms. Kristie Drucza, a representative from UNICEF, presented findings and evaluation results on Relevance, Effectiveness, Efficiency and Sustainability of the Project. The session was facilitated by Ms. Lieve Sabbe Programme, Specialist (Children with Disabilities), UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Region.

Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Manager of Community Development Department, provided recommendations on co-resource exchanges among target countries to be considered in the future as a key outcome of the Project.

APCD Community Development Department Team had an online meeting with Mr. Mark Morris, Teacher of the subject ‘Community Development Work and International Aid’ as the student supervisor before the meeting.

Ms. Supaanong Panyasirimongkol, Networking & Collaboration Officer, presented APCD background, regional activities on disability development and APCD experiences with several international interns as well as past volunteers during the orientation.

Barista, Ms. Paritha Pathamasing Na Ayuthaya, explained an exercise on whisper challenges to understand feelings of persons with psychosocial disabilities.

Demonstration on playing an inclusive table tennis game was facilitated by Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat, Logistics Officer.

Session on introduction of wheelchairs and how to assist wheelchair users in appropriate ways was conducted by Ms. Nongnuch Maytarjittipun, Executive Secretary to the Executive Director.

Mr. Sunthorn Sukcha, an expert on visual impairment, showed training participants how to assist persons with visual disabilities in appropriate ways.
