Fourteen new diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand of the year 2022 and government officials visited APCD.

They learned more about capacity building and vocational skills development for Thai Persons with Disabilities from the APCD programs.

APCD presented the Third Country Training Program (TCTP) on "Strengthening Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction in the ASEAN Region." Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and APCD will collaborate to carry out the project.

Ms. Patcharee Srisala, Director of Opportunity Promotion and Monitoring for Persons with Disabilities from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP), presented the significance of the loaning scheme to improve the lives of Thai persons with disabilities and shared a case study of the scheme's achievements.

The secretary reported on the last minutes of meeting which were recorded by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP).

Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, shared objectives, outcomes, and impacts on the importance of human resource development in the field of DIB.

The activities were in line with Incheon Strategy goal 7 on disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction
