The discussions were about the symptoms, the medical services, and the recovery stage, etc.

Mr. Nay Myo Naing expressed appreciation for the fundraising effort to help persons with autism and their families in Myanmar who are affected by COVID-19 and political conflict.

APCD's Networking & Collaboration Officer, Ms. Supaanong ‘NuNu’ Panyasirimongkol, updated the CEP Guidebooks on completion of translation from English to different national ASEAN languages and Japanese. Ms. Nunu also expressed gratitude for the collaboration of each country's facilitator who did well at proofreading.

Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, the Community Development Manager, provided an overview of APCD and the several outcomes of TCTP for persons with disabilities in ASEAN countries.

Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, the Chief of Networking and Collaborations, expressed the importance of TCTP courses.

During the visit, the APCD Executive Director and APCD team gave H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Mongolian Ambassador to Thailand, and his advisor (left hand) chocolate box sets produced by Thai persons with disabilities as a gift of thanks.

The guests visited the 60+Plus Bakery and Café. Mr. Christopher Benjakul, APCD Public Relations Officer, explained the friendly working environment.

Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, explained the bakery's production procedures in a friendly design that made staff with disabilities feel confident in their workplace.

H.E. Mr. Tumur and Mr. Piroon had a photoshoot with handicrafts made by persons with disabilities from the south region of Thailand.

Mr. Piroon explained key regional activities on disability development implemented by APCD to the visitors.

There were more than 100 participants, including government representatives of government, workers, employers, youth groups, researchers, private sectors, relevant partners of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth, attending the webinar.

Mr. Wanchat Suwankitti, Deputy Secretary-General, National Economic and Social Development Council, presented "13 goals for a value-based economy and sustainable social development" in the panel discussion.

Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat, APCD Officer, Logistics, commented on how to promote sustainable employment for individuals with disabilities, particularly in terms of a friendly working environment and equally decent job.

Ms. Patcharee Srisala, Director of Opportunity Promotion and Monitoring for Persons with Disabilities from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP), presented the significance of the loaning scheme to improve the lives of Thai persons with disabilities and shared a case study of the scheme's achievements.

Ms. Jaruwan Thanachai, a supporter of Ban-Samanjai Self-Advocacy Intellectual Disability Group (Healing Family Foundation) in Chiangmai, exchanged an idea to support the self-employment of persons with Intellectual Disability and their families during the training course.

Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager, summarized the session and expressed intention that this session would be useful and initiative self-reliance through resources mobilization from the government.

Mr. Narongrit Wattanalabphan, the head of Dao Ruang (Marigold in English), the first self-advocacy group of people with intellectual disabilities in Thailand, shared his impressions of the course.

A representative of the hospital staff at Thammasat University Field Hospital received meal boxes donation made by persons with disabilities on 5 October 2021. The donation was from M.L. Sujira Ngon-rot.

There were 140 meal boxes of fried pork with garlic pepper and a fried egg on rice was prepared to be delivered.

The donations went to the severely vulnerable group that was on Ratchadamnoen Avenue and were supported by the Chulalongkorn University Alumni Group batch 18 (Law Chula).
