APCD promotes disability and inclusive development. APCD’s training programs focuses on Community-based Inclusive Development, Disability Inclusive Business, Disability Inclusive Sports, and Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction. So far APCD have more than 3,000 Ex‐Participants from 40 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Networking

 Networking and collaboration are significant missions of APCD. APCD believes that the key successful factor to move disability and development programmes is creating a win-win situation and making sure the international, national and community levels have been harmonized. 

 

CBID Mongolia

60+ Plus Bakery & Chocolate Café

The 60+ Plus Bakery & Chocolate Café is a Disability Inclusive Business (DIB) initiative that provides sustainable on-the-job training for persons with disabilities in Thailand. It provides an accessible and inclusive environment for persons with disabilities to develop their business skills in the food industry, which can support them to be professional bakers and chocolatiers, shopkeepers, and entrepreneurs following the principles of DIB and Inclusive Entrepreneurship (IE).

Projects

APCD has significant collaborations on implementing programmes/projects/activities with various organizations to promote social inclusion. Main focus areas are Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID), Disability-Inclusive Sports (DIS) and Disability-Inclusive Business (DIB).
