60 Plus+ Bakery & Cafe trainees with disabilities begin their internship at the UNCC
The internship of 60 Plus+ Bakery & Cafe trainees with disabilities continues at the United Nations Conference Centre in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and Sodexo, worldwide leader in Quality of Life services. Beginning January, another trainee will learn more about proper customer service in the food industry. The 60 Plus+ Bakery & Cafe is a disability-inclusive bakery shop that employs and provides on-the-job-training to Thai persons with disabilities, who may eventually be hired in various opportunities in Thailand.

Eighty youth representatives of the 'ASEAN Youth Workshop on Social Entrepreneurs' visited the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) to learn more about Disability-Inclusive Business through 60 Plus+ Bakery & Cafe's disability-friendly working environment, as well as to try out exercises focusing on Disability-Inclusive Sports.
The visit was conducted in coordination with the Department of Children and Youth of Thailand, the Workshop organizer with the aim of supporting new entrepreneurs and strengthening youth entrepreneurs from ASEAN countries in networking effectively.
Summary Report on First Myanmar Autism Games
The Summary Report on the First Myanmar Autism Games, held on 7 to 8 December 2016 in Yangon, is now available for download in various accessible format. Over 700 persons with autism and their families from ASEAN countries took part in the track and field and swimming events, meant to enhance understanding about Disability-Inclusive Sports.
