The theme will be “Changing Perceptions, Increasing Effectiveness, Embracing Advocacy”. We are engaging multi-organizational professionals and the community to collectively work towards: (1) Changing negative perceptions and stereotypes which deter individuals from seeking professional help and integrating more fully into the community (2) Addressing current challenges and setting future directions to increase the effectiveness of medical-surgical, audiological and educational services (3) Engaging policy makers, encouraging advocacy and ensuring community support for the community with hearing impairment.
